Why Agro-tourism Battambang
Growing rice is a costly endeavor due to its high water consumption, significant use of agricultural inputs, and labor-intensive nature. Chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and fuel are essential for rice production. Additionally, monoculture rice cultivation can harm the environment and lead to market saturation. Consequently, many farmers find themselves trapped in a cycle of poverty and debt. We believe we can be part of the solution. We are working with farmers to implement diversified agriculture practices. This approach aims to reduce production costs and minimize environmentally harmful practices. By diversifying their crops, farmers can improve their livelihoods and contribute to a more sustainable agricultural system.
